United Way Campaign
The Power Pioneers partner with BC Hydro each year to support our communities.
Please consider donating by Friday, November 3 and join us this year in helping to create opportunities for a better life for everyone.
Through our United Way Campaign, we’ve raised over $2.7 million dollars in the past five years for United Way programs across the province.
Last year’s contributions of over $550,000 are helping vulnerable kids attend breakfast and after school programs.
BC seniors are also helped with access and support to vital programs. For example, BC211 is a specializing help line that provides information and referrals regarding community, government and social services in B.C
And, Better at Home is a program that helps seniors with simple day-to-day tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their communities.
Watch for your pledge package in the mail. You can make a donation by:
- Cheque (one lump sum) or
- Credit card (can be lump sum or spread over time)
