BC Hydro Power Pioneers Community Service Award

School Transcripts and teacher job action: If you are having a problem obtaining a current transcript of your marks please see your school counsellor who can assist you. A photocopy of your transcript is acceptable for your award application.

Since 2002 the Power Pioneers have presented their annual Community Service Award for Beginning a Lifetime of Community Service. The award recognizes young people who dedicate a significant amount of their time and energy to volunteering in their communities. The inspiration behind the award is the continued efforts of Power Pioneer volunteers to share their time and knowledge with others. Volunteerism is a foundation of the Power Pioneers Association.

Starting in 2010 the Power Pioneers will present up to 20 awards of $1,000 in 15 regions of the province each spring.

Applications are accepted January 1 to March 31 of each year.

Please read the application form for rules and eligibility requirements.
It is necessary to fill out, print and mail in with all the requested attachments.
