Safety Rodeo

The Safety Rodeo is back for 2008, building on past successes in which the Power Pioneers played an essential role. With the Theme “Safety by Design,” this event will showcase our trades skills and highlight the latest safe work methods and equipment.

When: Saturday, June 21

Where: Surrey

Activities will include:

• competitions, displays and demonstrations by:
• Power Line Technicians
• Apprentices
• Electricians
• Emergency Response Team
• First aid
• driving competitions
• family fun with live music, games and rides

Get involved!

This event is possibile only with the help of volunteers.
Power Pioneers are invited to be involved in:

• helping to set up
• helping with various operations during the day, such as:
• parking
• registration
• concessions
• assisting with demonstrations
• assisting with competitions and judging
• family events, e.g., kids’ activities, face painting and other
• hosting and guest services
• helping to take down and clean up

Whatever your specific skills and experience, or lack thereof, we have a position where you can help.
