Happy spring. It looks like spring has finally arrived. The grass is green, the trees are in leaf and flowers are blooming. To all of the gardeners, it’s almost safe to plant. Once we get passed the full moon on May 31st there should be little risk of an over night frost, but were in the north/central region of the province so you never know.
From a BC Hydro perspective I see the freshet on Williston Reservoir is underway with the reservoir gaining four feet in elevation last week. The reservoir is now at elevation 2185’ twenty feet below full pool.
Just a reminder that this is the last week of the ’Small is Mighty’ campaign. If you haven’t donated there is still time to do so. Every contribution big or small counts. Check out how to donate in the story in this newsletter.
Also a reminder about our spring outing on June 9th at the Railway and Forestry Museum. I look forward to seeing there.
