Summer is here at last with the sound of rototillers and lawn mowers humming in the background along with hauling of dirt, bark mulch, planting containers and gardens and general all around yard or courtyard beautifying. This is all a nice change from plowing and shoveling snow. The rain is also very welcome.
June is our month for a gathering/non meeting. This event will be a patio party which will be held on the patio at Nelly’s Pub, site of our previous luncheons and meetings. This will take place on June 11th at 12:00 PM noon and will consist of beef burgers, chicken breasts and salads. Please RSVP no later than June 6th with your choice of beef burger or chicken with any other dietary needs.
Plans are also underway for our annual BBQ. Once again this is being gracefully held at the home of Gail and Tim Thompson on August 16th at 2:00 PM, details to be announced.
