Upcoming Events
- Drop-In: May 5, 2026 -Come and play Bingo.
- May 19, 2026 - Upper Island will have our potluck starting at 12 Noon and then at approximately 1:00 pm, we will have our General meeting.
- July 14, 2026 willl be our annual picnic. (more information in the post below)
- Our annual Small is Mighty campaign will happen during the month of May. Patti Morris is the contact person.
- Tigh -na -Mara Lodge in Parksville was chosen as the venue for our Christmas lunch to be held on December 8, 2026. ( more details will follow later)
- Jim Gahr and Lois Earle would like our members to remember to keep track of your volunteer hours. A huge thank you to all the members who helped us raise $2020.00 to be used for charities in our Upper Island Power Pioneer region..
- If anyone has any spare wool that you are not using, our Upper Island would like some so our knitters can keep crafting.
- Our Literacy donation this year was to the Errington school. Post below.
- Look what some of our Upper Island members are donating to new Mom's. It's happening down along Nanaimo's seawall, Maffeo Sutton Park and Sway'A'Lana Lagoon. Post below
