Upper Island – Where do our donations of small baby knitted caps go?

Branch News |

Most of our Members are now Grandmothers and we have noticed a lot of new Mothers who are walking with their small babies do not have the babies heads covered.

So, guess what.  Patti Morris for years has been packing small knitted caps with her wherever she goes.  And if she notices that someone’s child has no cap, she asks if they would like one.  The mother’s are so appreciative.

Lately Lois Earle and Sharon Bickle have been taking the caps along with them.  One of their favourite places to walk is with Lois’ dog Bart on Nanimo’s waterfront.

Here is the latest happy baby with their new cap.  Lois stated that the Mother was so happy and thrilled to receive the baby cap.
