In Memoriam – Ria Makarenko

We are very sad to inform you of the passing of our long time Pacific Branch member Hendrika Maria ‘Ria’ Makarenko on May 21, 2024.

Her husband Mike predeceased her in 2019. Ria and Mike joined the branch in 1997. They were among the first Pacific Branch members and were very involved in many aspects of the branch. 

The service is on Thursday, May 30 at 11:00 at Precious Blood Parish, 17475 59th Ave, Cloverdale. 

Please pass this information on to anyone who may have known Ria but does not have access to email.
