Northern – November 2025 Volunteer Hour Donation Presentation

Branch News |

On November 19th, members of the Northern Power Pioneer executive presented $500.00 donations each to the Prince George Salvation Army Food Bank and the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society.

The Salvation Army is the largest non-governmental direct provider of social services in Canada offering unprecedented support to society’s most vulnerable. When you give to The Salvation Army, you are giving hope today by investing in the future of marginalized and overlooked people. We appreciate every donation especially during the Christmas Season. Every donation we receive is utilized within this community.

The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society knows what exceptional service truly means. Our expertly trained care team provides compassionate care during some of the toughest life transitions. Our Rotary Hospice House is a ten-bed facility equipped to accommodate those looking for palliative end-of life care, respite, and pain management services. Our Solace centre provides community outreach which includes caregiver, bereavement support, and comfort to our community.
