My apologies to all the Power Pioneer Northern Members for being unable to attend the April and May meetings. Unfortunately my mother is in hospital in Surrey and as you will understand I need to be with her. My thanks to Al for covering in my absence.
On a happier note it looks like spring is finally here. It’s time to do all of the activities we have been looking forward to for the last six months and those spring time chores too. Whether it’s an activity like walking, gardening, hiking, golf, pickleball, birdwatching, fishing, etc., now is the time to get out and do it and enjoy the weather.
I’d also like to ask members to consider donating to the ’Small is Mighty’ campaign. The campaign kicks off on May 5th. For more details about this year’s campaign check out the details in the newsletter.
Last minute update, ”It looks like we will need a new venue for the May meeting or cancel it since Nelly’s / Northwood burnt down last night.”
