December was a busy month for Fraser Valley Food Bank volunteers with organizing and delivery of children’s books, food items and cash donations to our various food banks in the upper Fraser Valley. Each year one of our communities is selected to receive the children’s books and food items along with special cash donations from various 50/50 draws, etc. held throughout the past year. This year it was Hope’s turn and Hope Community Services received $720 plus the food bank donations and children’s books from our literacy fund. Adding to this year’s cash donations for all the food banks was our 2024 and 2025 Volunteer Hours fund.
