Almost 180 attendees enjoyed the festive atmosphere at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver Christmas luncheon on December 8 – it was a great way to kick off the holiday season, including a visit from Santa Claus.

Lucky winners walked away with Power Pioneers gear from our Gear Store – a travel blanket, car safety kit, massage gun, umbrella, and cooler bag.  Other prizes included gift cards to London Drugs and White Spot, Tea for Two at the Fairmont (courtesy of the Fairmont Hotel), and two winners of cash from draw ticket sales.

John Davies presented BC Children’s Hospital Philanthropy Associate Steven Letts with $763, proceeds from donations and draw ticket sales.

Branch donations for year end 2025 include $2000 to Vancouver Food Bank (distributed amongst various municipalities), $500 (double-matched) to Covenant House, and $500 (double-matched) to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
