Members of the Vancouver Golf Club say a big ”Thank you” to the IBEW for their generous donation of $500 in support of the club’s 2025 yearend tournament and AGM dinner.

BC Hydro Power Pioneers Golf Club (Vancouver) 2025 Osoyoos Desert Classic

The 2025 Osoyoos Desert Classic took place June 16-19. The outing was a success with 27 members plus spouse and friends participating inthree fun-filled rounds of golf at the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club.

The week started Monday with a welcome pizza dinner for the attendees. The group attended a dinner banquet on Wednesday, where prizes were awarded to the winners of the Texas Scramble, Pink Ball, KPs and longest putts events.

The Club thanked Louise Ouellet and Doug Whiticar for their almost year-long work for arranging and then running the event. The work is much appreciated by all!

The 2026 Osoyoos Desert Classic is planned for June 22-25, 2026.

Aside from our regular golf days, the next club event will be the Windup Texas Scramble tournament and AGM Dinner on September 16 at Riverway.
