On a beautiful spring day  April 17, 2025 our Upper Island Power Pioneers donated a cheque for $1,000.00 to the Nanaimo Regional District Hospital paediatric ward.

Sharon Mitchener crocheted the Easter chicks and they are going to make some children very happy.

On May 14, 2025 a further donation of blankets and other crafts made by our members were donated to the hospital:
