On December 15, our Upper Island members had the pleasure of gifting blankets, slippers and touques to Eden Gardens Nursing Home on 1917 Northfield Rd., Nanaimo, BC V9S 3B6.

Just as we arrived there was an outage caused by a windstorm and the backup power came on along with the beep, beep, beep.

It was a wonderful experience and we were so happy to donate all items, along with some tree ornaments (that held a chocolate) that were made by Sharon Mitchener.
