Our Upper Island members had a fun day donating to one our our favourite places-Nanaimo and Regional District Hospital. Our first stop was the Nanaimo & District Hospital’s Foundation, which is located on the first floor in the Hospital.  We contacted Trina and she led us up to the Paediatric ward to make our first donation of $1,000.00 plus deliver 22 baby touques, 5 pairs of slippers and 5 blankets (which would later be delivered to the Children’s ward).

Our next stop is delivering another cheque for $1,000.00 for the Cath lab which is one of the next projects for the Nanaimo Hospital.

Our last stop was a coffee at the Code Brew Cafe.  It is the heart of the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH). Every cup and every meal you have helps fuel heathcare in Central Vancouver Island.  As part of the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation, 100% of Code Brew’s profits go directly towards purchasing medical equipment and funding vital projects at NRGH and other regional healthcare facilities.
