Thank you volunteers for what you have achieved during our 2025 Small is Mighty campaign. Together we have raised over $38,000 towards our goal of $60,000 and there’s more to come!
We know that some of you had late starts for your campaign, and some challenges with the new donor platform. With this in mind, we will be keeping the window for donations open until June 30. If it is helpful, please feel free to continue your efforts to reach out to potential donors in your network of friends, family and co-workers. Help us support the kids and raise awareness for the Pet Therapy program at BC Children’s Hospital. All donations are important no matter how small.
The Safety Rodeo – the Power Pioneers will have a team at the Safety Rodeo in Nanaimo, June 7. Volunteers have been working for months to participate in the Rodeo and will be selling 50/50 tickets with funds raised going to the 2025 Small is Mighty campaign. In addition, BC Hydro recognizes the contribution of the Power Pioneers volunteers by making a donation towards our campaign in support of BC Children’s Hospital.
As an added thank you, we are offering an additional volunteer prize draw of four tickets to an upcoming Vancouver Whitecaps game. The draws will be held in July.
Please contact the Small is Mighty Campaign Chair, Brian Daniel at bsdaniel@shaw.ca for more information.
