We’re about to set sail on the beautiful Danube with AmaWaterways, June 6–13, 2026—the countdown is officially on and here is our first update!
By now, you should have received an AmaWaterways “check-in” email from Expedia. This is where you can register your passport and flight details now. Once checked in, you’ll be able to view information for each day of the cruise; however, excursion bookings will open 60 days prior to sailing.

”Sip and Sail” get together and cocktail party
Once aboard the AmaMora, we’ll kick off our adventure with a lively “Sip and Sail” get together and cocktail party—your chance to mix and mingle with fellow Power Pioneers and other guests. Each of you will enjoy a complimentary cocktail, including the option of our signature Power Pioneers Martini. It’s the perfect way to toast the start of an exciting journey together. Later that evening, you’ll receive a Power Pioneers wristband, making it easy to spot and connect with your fellow cruisers throughout the voyage.
WhatsApp Group
During the cruise, we’ll be using WhatsApp to share updates, answer questions, and provide helpful information along the way. A group chat will be set up before departure, with easy step-by-step instructions on how to download and use it. Your Expedia travel agent will also be reaching out to connect with you prior to the trip. If you don’t have a phone or won’t be bringing one, no worries—we’ve got you covered. We’ll provide alternative contact information so you’re always able to reach someone if needed.
