In Memoriam
We are very sad to inform you of the recent passing of a long time Pacific Branch member John Strobl.
John and Linda joined our branch in 2007. John was a regularly active member of our branch until his health started to fail due to Lewy body Dementia. John was our branch President from 2017 to 2018. John’s passion was the Literacy Fund which provides books to schools in need. He expanded the program by encouraging members to provide cans and bottles for recycling in addition to book sales at each branch lunch meeting. He and Linda enjoyed many Provincial Jamborees being active participants.
John’s Celebration of Life will be on Saturday March 14th, at 2 PM, at Sunshine Ridge Baptist Church, 6230 – 120 St. (Scott Road), Surrey, with a reception to follow.
