Surrey Heritage Fair Award

Gurrehmat Kaur receiving the Power Pioneers Heritage Fair award from Ben Dobranowski. She received a Power Pioneers certificate and a copy of the Voices from Bridge River. Her project was “Mayo Singh Manhas” who was a lumber baron, founder of the Mayo Lumber Company and founder of the town of Paldi, British Columbia. Gurrehmat is a grade 7 student at Guru Angad Dev Elementary school.

Delta Heritage Fair Award

Jovan Chadha receives the Power Pioneers Heritage Fair award from Ben Dobranowski. He received a copy of the Voices from Bridge River and a certificate from the Delta Heritage Fair. His project was on the Oil and Gas Industry. Jovan is a grade 7 student at Heath Elementary school.

Richmond Heritage Fair Award

Ryan Leung a grade 7 student at Cornerstone Christian Academy school received the Power Pioneers Heritage Fair award for his project on Cary Price #31: Beyond the Crease. As there was no closing awards ceremony, Bill Fernihough provided the Power Pioneers certificate and a copy Voices from Bridge River to the Heritage Fair representative to award.
