The Crafty Crew from Fraser Valley
On Nov. 6 our Caring Crafts Coordinator Sharon Perry will be travelling to BC Children’s Hospital to present this year’s crafts made by our talented craft crew members. Sharon will be also be donating a number of items donated by the Boswyk Senior Centre in Mission.
This year our Fraser Valley Power Pioneer’s crafters have made and donated 9 blankets, 12 finger puppets, and 16 pairs of slippers.
For the past several years our main crafters have been Lil Bodell, Pat Daws, Denise Jury and Sharon Perry. This year Sharon would also like to thank our newest member Cathy Spence who made several blankets and facilitated the large donation from Boswyk Centre.
The Boswyk Centre donated 16 blankets plus one hat and swaddle (wrap).
Fraser Valley Power Pioneers would like to thank our Caring Crafts Coordinator Sharon Perry and her talented team for the many hours spent making these much-appreciated clothing items for these very special children with very special needs.
“BC Children’s is transforming care, making diagnostics and treatments safer, faster, and more personalized, and working to find solutions for critical issues facing the sickest kids.” – BC Children’s Hospital
