We were pleased, at our June luncheon, to present a $500 Award and a copy of ”Voices From Bridge River” to each of two deserving young people graduating from high school this year.
Olivia Van Delft, from Abbotsford and a student at Abbotsford Christian School was unable to come so her father represented her. Olivia plans to go to into the Nursing Program at the University of the Fraser Valley, eventually hoping to specialize as a Labour and Delivery Nurse.
Joseph Groves, from Chilliwack, attended St. John Brebeuf Regional Secondary School in Abbotsford. He was accompanied to the luncheon by his grandmother. Joseph is going to UBC to pursue a career in kinesiology.
Fraser Valley Power Pioneers wish both Olivia and Joseph the very best as they enter a new chapter in their life’s journey!
