-Upper Island has a vacant committee position for Building Maintenance-If you are interested please let us know.
-Jim Gahr has completed the volunteer hours report for 2024. 85 members volunteered 20,541 hours. We are looking forward to receive a cheque in the amount of $1,700.00, which will be donated to a charity of our choosing.
-Jim Pogson has contacted eight school districts and has submitted the youth award application forms and covering letters to them. The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2025.
-We are working on locations for our Octoberfest and Christmas lunches.
-Have you read all about the river cruise for the next Power Pioneer Jamboree?
-Lois Earle received a cheque for $650.69 from the Purdy Chocolate sales. This will be donated to the Pediatrics Ward of the Nanaimo Regional District Hospital.
- Don't forget tomorrow is cutoff date to let Patricia Bucy know if you are going to attend the St. Patrick's Day Lunch.
