Agnes Deboer has organized a tour of the Parliament Buildings on Thursday, June 18th. She needs to know by May 15th how many will be attending as at least fifteen people are required for a guided tour. Please contact Agnes directly to let her know if you will be attending. 250-818-3962 or agnesd478@gmail.com
Tours are free and last approximately 40 minutes. Ours is booked for 11:00am so please plan to arrive at the front steps of the Parliament Buildings by 10:30am to allow at least 10 – 15 minutes to pass through security screening.
- The British Columbia Parliament Buildings are wheelchair-accessible.
- The accessible entrance can be reached from the front driveway on the west side of the Parliament Buildings (to the right of the front steps). A short ramp will lead you down to the entry door.
- As it is an active place of work, visitors are asked to speak quietly while inside.
Public parking is available on surrounding streets and in nearby lots. For visitors with accessibility requirements, the best place to park is immediately adjacent to the property on Menzies Street.
Lunch will follow at the Parliamentary Dining Room (subject to availability) Agnes is not able to book a reservation until 30 days before our tour date. We will keep you posted! :)
- Valid photo identification is required to enter the on-site Parliamentary Dining Room, which is open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays.
