Tri Cities February 2026 Ramble – Blue Heron Colony in Port Moody

Wednesday, March 18, 2026 – meet at 10:00 am.

Our March, 2026 Ramble is to view the Blue Heron Colony in Port Moody, a 3 km return walk with no hills on good community trails.

This is the time to see the birds nesting and guarding their nests. At other times you can’t see the birds easily.

So, bring your camera and binoculars to record this event.

We will start from Port Moody Recreation Complex, over the trail to the Blue Heron Colony, with lunch afterward at the St. James Well Pub, located in nearby Newport Village.

Meetup/Parking:  at the Port Moody Recreation Complex parking lot.
Lunch:  St. James Well Pub, after the walk at approx. 12:00 noon.

Remember, we do not stop rambling because we grow old, we grow old because we stop rambling!
