Bob worked for Hydro for 21 years as both a heavy duty mechanic and a diesel station mechanic. He started in Terrace then Nanaimo , Massett, Smithers and back to Nanaimo on the mobile covering the north end of the Island.

|
Bob joined BC Hydro to help get the new transmission line from Terrace to Kitimat. He worked as regional safety manager with BC Hydro, covering every nook and cranny of Vancouver Island as he educated employees and fire departments on safety.
